Four Seam Images is a wire service that has grown to over 1,500,000 images in our searchable database covering all levels of amateur and professional sports. The agency was officially launched in June 2007 by Mike Janes and Brian Westerholt, with some of the finest professional baseball photographers in the United States, each with an average of well over 20 years of experience covering America’s Pastime. Our work is used by worldwide media outlets, including Baseball America, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, USA Today, NY Times, Wall Street Journal and many more; MLB, MiLB, and NCAA teams and organizations.
In 2012 Four Seam Images partnered with AP Images (Associated Press Images) to help expand coverage and bring their images to new clients throughout the world. Most images found in our database can also be found in the AP Images online collection as well.
In 2016 Four Seam Images signed a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) as an Official Licensee of MiLB for photographic prints.
